The resource land of Dongliaohe River---Liaoyuan City is a prefecture-level city, which is located in the middle-south of Jilin province. This is a transitional area between Mount Changbai and Plain Songliao. It governs two towns ---Dongliao and Dongfeng and two districts---Longshan and Xi'an, and Liaoyuan Economy Developing Zone. It covers an area of 5139 square km，and the population here is 1.30 million.
